Dr. Michael Janiszewski // Owner and Medical Director

Inspired by advancements in skin rejuvenation treatments and laser hair removal technologies as well as his personal commitment to optimum health and wellness, Dr. Janiszewski opened Medspa1064 in October 2005. Dr. Janiszewski is dedicated to providing cosmetic and aesthetic treatments in an ethical and professional environment. A graduate of Columbia University and SUNY Buffalo University's School of Medicine, Dr. Janiszewski is board certified in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a professional member of the International Society of Cosmetic and Laser Surgeons (ISCLS).

A physician for over 20 years, Dr. Janiszewski is trained and certified in the most advanced non-surgical skin rejuvenation and laser hair removal technologies available today. Dr. Janiszewski has successfully completed an Advanced Master Workshop in Liposuction Surgery and Body Sculpting using the Smartlipo laser system at the Centers for Health Promotion. He is also a certified Gold level provider of Botox and Juvederm through the Allergan Corporation. "I believe everyone has a right to look and therefore feel better. We at Medspa1064 encourage people to make the right choices leading to healthier lifestyles and improved self esteem. Our goal is to provide non-invasive and non-surgical paths to healthier skin and improved appearance. Through Medspa1064, I want to help educate and treat clients who are suffering from years of sun damage and to provide them with solutions that will improve and enhance the appearance and health of their skin."


Dita Muca // Office Manager

Dita brings a wealth of client service and front desk management skills to Medspa1064. Her professional experience includes several years working in a number of family businesses overseeing customer service as well as managing daily operations and employee supervision. In addition to client service, Ms. Muca has worked as a human resource coordinator, a new business developer and a retail sales professional.

Gretta Nardelli // Consultant

Gretta assists clients as their personal consultant for determining their customized aesthetic plan. Gretta has over 10 years of experience in the aesthetic industry which includes working with Dr. Stanley Foster, Plastic Surgeon. With this experience, Gretta will help you to understand the process to achieve your aesthetic goals.

Debbie // Nurse

Debbie received her nursing degree from the Thompson School for Practical Nurses in Vermont. Debbie is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Connecticut. She holds current certifications for Thermage, Triactive, Delphia Microdermabrasion, CPR, Cynosure Apogee Elite Laser Systems and Cynergy IPL Systems.


Iole Punzo// Nurse

Iole is a graduate of St. Joseph College in West Hartford and is a Registered Nurse in the State of CT. Iole is also a graduate of the New England Center of Esthetics Education.  She is trained in performing laser treatments using the Cynosure Apogee Elite Laser Systems, Certified in Thermage Face and Body Treatments, and Certified in Sclerotherapy Vein Treatments, as well.  Iole brings to Medspa1064 extensive hands on aesthetic care with her past aesthetic experience as a nurse with pre and post op care of plastic surgery patients.

Jennifer Asal//Nurse

Jennifer received her Associates degree in nursing from Baystate Medical Center. She is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in both Baystate Medical Center and Connecticut Childrens Medical Center.  She comes to Medspa1064 with great enthusiasm since starting out here as a client.  Jennifer is fully trained on the Cynosure Apogee Elite Laser System for laser hair removal and photofacials.

Robin Coppola // Clinical Director, Medical Aesthetician and Skin Care Specialist

Robin received a Bachelors of Science degree from Southern CT State University and a Masters of Science from the University of Bridgeport. Ms. Coppola began her training in skin care and aesthetics at the American Academy of Cosmetology, served as an instructor at North Haven Academy and completed her advanced training at the International Dermal Institute. Ms. Coppola currently holds certifications for Thermage, Triactive, Delphia Microdermabrasion, Cynosure Apogee Elite Laser Systems, Altair Systems DiamondTome Microdermabrasion and Cynergy IPL Systems. Ms. Coppola is also trained in the application of medical grade skin products and custom mineral makeup.

Stephanie Johnson// Medical Aesthetician

Stephanie comes to us all the way from Arizona where she became certified by the National Laser Institute in IPL/fotofacials, laser hair removal and laser acne treatments.  She also finished the Xenon International School Esthetics Program in Nebraska where she became certified in chemical peels, microdermabrasion and ultrasound treatments.  She is trained on the Diamondtome system as well as the Triactive cellulite treatment.  She has extensive experience in several Medical Spas in Arizona where she worked as a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician. Stephanie is also trained in the application of medical grade skin products and custom mineral makeup.  We are thrilled that she has decided to move to New England where she can experience the beauty of our winters.

Sarah Bohanan// Medical Aesthetician

Sarah has graduated form the Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology in Rhode Island.  She has been a certified esthetician there as well as in Massachusetts.  Sarah has worked both at Advanced Laser Clinics and Sleek Medspa as an esthetician and laser technician.  She is quite proficient within the field of esthetics, laser treatments, cellulite treatments, and skin care. Sarah has worked with several skin care lines and brings her knowledge; experience; and enthusiastically positive personality to Medspa1064. 

 
Mary Childree// Front Desk Coordinator

Mary is the front desk coordinator at Medspa1064.  She has extensive experience in the Plastic Surgery field and has worked as a business manager as well as a medical receptionist.  She is quite knowledgeable in the field of esthetics, operating room procedures and even the Visia skin analysis system.
